Entangled is a collection of images taken over several weeks in the summer of 2017 on Rammamere Heath in Bedfordshire.
Heathlands are a rare and fragile ecosystem in the UK, and this series explores the fragility of the landscape, illustrating it with something as delicate as a spiderweb.
The series focuses on droplets of water, fallen leaves, and seeds that have become entangled in cobwebs. Each day was different, and nothing was permanent. Everything that was entangled, was holding on to a network of thin and fragile strands, much like what the heathland is itself.
